General Public Football Tickets on Sale for 2013 Season

Season tickets for the 2013 Auburn football season are now available to the general public through the Auburn Athletics Department Ticket Office. All tickets can be purchased online at AUBTIX.com.Auburn will host eight home games at Jordan-Hare Stadium in 2013 featuring SEC opponents Mississippi State (Sept. 14), Ole Miss (Oct. 5), and for the first-time both Georgia (Nov. 16) and Alabama (Nov. 30). The schedule also includes four non-conference games against Washington State (Aug. 31), Arkansas State (Sept. 7), Western Carolina for Homecoming (Oct. 12) and Florida Atlantic (Oct. 26). Season tickets are priced at $450.

SEC Working Group On Concussions Announces Update

In June of 2012, the SEC Presidents and Chancellors formed a “Working Group on Concussions,” charged with reviewing available research, evaluating diagnosis guidelines, identifying standards of care, and analyzing issues related to a student-athlete’s return to activity following a concussion. The Working Group represents a commitment by the Conference to put the health and safety of its student athletes at the forefront as a first priority.

Football Season Ticket Pre-Sale Set for June 7

General public season tickets for the 2013 season will go on sale on June 14, but to reward the loyalty of past season ticket holders and mini-plan purchasers, a presale for 2013 Auburn football season tickets has been set for June 7.Beginning June 7, fans who had general public season tickets or mini-plans in 2012 will be given a special opportunity to purchase tickets prior to the general public sale. An email will be sent with instructions for the online process, and all tickets will be available online only at AUBTIX.com."It is an exciting time for Auburn football, and we wanted to show appreciation to the fans that have shown loyalty to the program," Senior Associate Athletics Director of External Relations Scott Carr said. "We have had great demand during the Tigers Unlimited renewal period and hope to see that carry over to our season ticket holders."
